Scouting Aotearoa:<\/strong> Other Scout and Guide groups may be able to use facilities at a preferential rate when they are available. Please mention your affiliation when contacting us.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This page allows you to view and request Scout Hall bookings.\u00a0\u00a0 The Hall may be booked for individual days; however there are some times (such as week nights from 6pm to 9pm) when it is used for Scout meetings and other events.\u00a0 When making a booking, please state what times you will need to have access.\u00a0 Repeating events, or events with special requirements,\u00a0 should be booked individually or negotiated directly via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make a booking, check the calendar below for availability. Then, contact us directly with your requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

All bookings require a $250 bond<\/strong> to be paid to cover any damage, or cleaning required.  This will be refunded after the event has completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normal bookings are priced at $25 per hour<\/strong> and capped at approximately $250 per day<\/strong>.  Please contact us if you need to book the den for an extended time, or for a recurring event.   Note that this price is negotiable depending on circumstances (e.g. Children’s parties, Charitable events, etc).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is currently an additional charge of $10\/day<\/strong> for use of the kitchen facilities; however this may change in the future, or if you need to make regular use of the oven; in any case, you are expected to leave the room and equipment in the state you found them.  There are also a number of tables and chairs which can be made available, with prior agreement, if required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need access to the hall WiFi network during your event, then please enquire.  Any use of the network would require you to agree to abide by our standard terms and conditions of use<\/a>, and incurs an additional $10\/day <\/strong>charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note: <\/strong>Due to Maunga Authority regulations, it is not<\/strong> permitted to have any alcohol consumed in the venue.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

You can view the Hall Hire Agreement<\/a> (v0.4) for details of the full Terms and Conditions of hirage, and the Internet Usage Agreement<\/a> (v1.0) if you intend to make use of the Den WiFi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Chairs (please notify in advance)<\/li>\n
  • Folding tables (please notify in advance)<\/li>\n
  • Pull-down projector screen<\/li>\n
  • Whiteboard (markers, erasers etc not provided)<\/li>\n
  • Moveable stage area<\/li>\n
  • Cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, cooking utensils (if Kitchen hire fee paid)<\/li>\n
  • Cleaning equipment, toilet rolls, cleaning fluids etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Please note that the setup, cleaning and packing away of any of these is the responsibility of the hirer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
