Hall Hire

This page allows you to view and request Scout Hall bookings.   The Hall may be booked for individual days; however there are some times (such as week nights from 6pm to 9pm) when it may be used for Scout meetings.  When making a booking, please state what times you will need to have access.  Repeating events, or events with special requirements,  should be booked individually or negotiated directly via email.

To make a booking, click the required day and then select the Start and End times for the booking.  You next need to fill out the form with your contact details and details of the reason for your booking, verify the estimated cost, and submit the form.  You will then receive notification when the booking has been approved; it will not appear on the calendar until approved.  Alternatively, contact us directly with your requirements.

All bookings require a $250 bond to be paid to cover any damage, or cleaning required.  This will be refunded after the event has completed.

Normal bookings are priced at $25 per hour and capped at approximately $250 per day.  Please contact us if you need to book the den for an extended time, or for a recurring event.   Note that this price is negotiable depending on circumstances (e.g. Children’s parties, Charitable events, etc).

There is currently no additional charge for use of the kitchen facilities; however this may change in the future, and in any case you are expected to leave them in the state you found them.  There are also a number of tables and chairs which can be made available, with prior agreement, if required.

If you need access to the hall WiFi network during your event, then please enquire.  Any use of the network would require you to agree to abide by our standard terms and conditions of use, and may incur a small additional charge.

To use the booking form: First click on a day (hover on day to show hours available).  Then select the hour(s) you require, and an estimate of the booking costs will be presented.  The administrator will be contacted with your booking request and they will get back to you as soon as possible.  If you need to make a recurring booking, or have any special requirements (additional equipment, WiFi, etc), then please contact bookings@cmas.org.nz first to discuss.
